Manually Install the Android App That's Been Distributed

Once you've done the following:

The next step is to manually install the Android app that's been distributed to you. There's two ways in which you can manually install the app:

  • Install from the project list
  • Install from within the notification message (available for Balto app version 3.2.2 or later)

If you don't see the Android app in your project list, contact the individual who's distributed the app to have it sent to you.
Note: To give feedback on an Android app, you'll need to be using an Android device.

Install from the Project List

  1. From the project list, select the Android project and tap the install button.

  2. A modal window will appear. Simply tap the Install button > tap Install again > wait for the app to install. Once complete, tap where it says Open.
  3. Once the app opens, you can begin the feedback.

Install from within the Notification Message

  1. From the notification message, tap where it says, DOWNLOAD.
  2. Tap install and once the app has finished installing, tap Open.
  3. Once the app opens, you can begin the feedback.

Don't see the Balto feedback icon on the app that you just installed?

Head to your App settings on your Android device and allow Balto access to draw over other apps so you can start the feedback.
